Terms of Service

TranslatePhotos provides tools to translate text in images and extract text via OCR, along with related features we may introduce. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable law or infringe others’ rights (including intellectual property and privacy).
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems, or bypass security or access controls.
• Use the service to generate or distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content at scale.
• Resell, scrape, or systematically extract our product or documentation without permission.
• Upload content you do not have the right to process, or highly sensitive personal data you are not permitted to share.

We may investigate and suspend or terminate access for conduct that risks the service, users, or third parties.

You retain rights in content you upload. To operate the service, you grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide and improve TranslatePhotos, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your content and for obtaining any consents needed to process third-party information contained in images or documents.

The service may integrate third-party components (for example, sign-in providers or infrastructure). Your use of those components may be subject to the third party’s terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI AND OCR OUTPUTS MAY BE IMPRECISE; YOU SHOULD VERIFY RESULTS BEFORE RELYING ON THEM FOR IMPORTANT DECISIONS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR OUR AFFILIATES OR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100), EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk to the platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction we designate in a future refinement of this document, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice as appropriate (for example, by posting an update or email where feasible). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
